My name is Cindy Walker.  I have been involved in natural building for 10 years.  I began by building my own cob/strawbale/lightclay cottage in 2001.  I studied & worked with experts in BC, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada & New Zealand such as Cobworks, Cob Cottage Co, Bill & Atheena Steen, Carole Crews and others.  Since 2003, I`ve worked on training programs & taught workshops for organizations such as:

                                                                                                                                           I specialize in natural plasters & paints, but I also have experience with natural building methods such as cob, strawbale, lightclay, earthen floors, earthen ovens & carpentry.  I do consulting work and help people figure out the most cost effective way of doing things.  I teach workshops, train homeowner`s and their crews.  I`m presently building myself an off grid woodchip clay cabin near New Denver, BC.  I enjoy outdoor activities such as backcountry skiing, hiking & canoeing.
